Every time Birkenstock opens a new store in a new city, they find a local photographer to capture a campaign. I was lucky enough to be the person they found for Boston! The assignment was to capture as many people wearing Birkenstocks in the wild that were willing to be photographed as possible. I photographed over 50 people across a few days. It was a dream assignment with minimal gear and little to no crew or prep, just connecting with people on the street and finding the light. It felt like being back to the core of being a photographer and why I love to do this!

At the end, all of the photos were used as store signage for their store opening on Newbury Street and launched on their global social media. It was awesome to celebrate with everyone!
